Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the Heed mobile application ("Heed", the "App", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Heed, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Heed for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App; use it for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent subscription or security controls; or interfere with its operation or other users.

Heed provides Scripture, declarations, and focus tools for encouragement and digital wellbeing. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, or pastoral advice. If you are struggling, please seek qualified help. Heed makes no guarantee of any particular spiritual, health, productivity, or life outcome.

6. Intellectual property

Heed, its name, logos, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Scripture quotations are used from public-domain or appropriately licensed translations. These Terms grant you no ownership in the App.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that app-blocking will be effective in all cases.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Heed at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [insert your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
